RCOT Research Foundation Early Researcher Prize Nomination (2024)
Nominated by my research supervisor for the RCOT Research Foundation Early Researcher Prize 2024 in recognition of completing my qualitative research study to an exceptional standard. The study explored Occupational Therapy students’ preparedness to work in palliative care post-qualification. This recognition significantly boosted my confidence in conducting independent research, analysing qualitative data, and formulating evidence-based recommendations. The findings contributed valuable insights for enhancing the Occupational Therapy curriculum at the University of Huddersfield to better prepare future graduates for work in palliative care settings.
