I understand this job to be reliant first and foremost on teamwork. I believe that is something that I can bring to the mix. I know that when the situation requires it, I can step up and also realise that there are times that require me to take a step back so someone else can lead. This comes from the years I spent playing basketball in both school (as team captain) and university. I simply want what works for the whole.

I work hard. I will begin by organising and prioritising taks so that work can be done efficiently. When efficiency stops working, I will work that task to the bone. This comes from the time I spent training to be a sprinter, while also balancing basketball and studies. I never won a race without having to undertake the relevant intense preparation prior.

I am energetic and lively in how I conduct myself. This is particularly the case when it is time to rally the team together. I feel it is something that not only powers my work but helps to energise others around me.

I am good with people. As an actor in training, I understand what it means to genuinely listen to people and act on what they need from me. I consider myself to be welcoming and being someone a person can trust.

Being British but also having lived in Pakistan for many years, I have a keen cross-cultural awareness and can connect and communicate well with people from the United Kingdom but also those from abroad.

I have been an informal teacher at a children's charity school in Pakistan. That experience made me realise the importance of friendly yet professional conduct. I want to be approachable to customers and colleagues while maintaining the professional standard of any institution that I operate under.
