I am a dedicated and adaptable professional with a background in supporting diverse needs whilst offering strong communication.
As i study Sociology at Bournemouth University, it has provided me with a strong foundation in understanding social inequalities, system barriers and cultural dynamics. Through my studies i have developed a way of critical thinking and analysis. my direct experience as a BU student gives me first-hand understanding of the undergraduate experience which includes curriculum delivery and where inclusivity could be enhanced. This allows me to bring an authentic and informed student perspective to the role.
My roles as a personal assistant for a family with a child with Down syndrome has allowed me to be equipped with empathy and a deep understanding of inclusivity and adapting to varying needs and perspectives. This experience has allowed me to strengthen my organisational skills and ensuing i can address challenges with sensibility and precision.
In addition, my work as a Customer advisor at Boots has enhanced my communication skills and navigate diverse interactions. In this role i often demonstrate my ability to collaborate with my team and provide constructive feedback and solve problems in a fast pace environments.
These roles reflect my commitment to fostering an inclusive environments in a timely manner to achieve results. I am passionate about enhancing my academic experience and by positioning me as a Student Inclusive Curriculum Reviewer i will be able to help contribute to enhancing the academic expiernces of all students and reducing attainment gaps through critical evaluation and feedback of the curriculum.
