Summary

As a motivated and dedicated deck officer, I hold an OOW Unlimited Certificate of Competency (valid August 2024), with extensive experience as a Second Officer and hands-on exposure to DP operations (DP unlimited certificate). Throughout my career, I’ve thrived in multinational and multicultural environments, demonstrating expertise in safe navigation, voyage planning, BRM, ISM compliance, and preparation for PSC/Flag inspections and have had hands on experience in multiple dry docks. In addition to my vessel rotations during my time off, I actively contribute as a marine surveyor, conducting audits and condition inspections on various offshore vessels, which has deepened my understanding of class standards, SMS implementation, and risk management.

Beyond my professional work, I am also a passionate Sea Cadet Corps volunteer (PO rank), where I mentor junior cadets in navigation, engineering and seamanship.

Drawing on my background as a former national-level competitive swimmer, I bring a strong sense of discipline, resilience, commitment to high performance and the ability to remain calm under pressure. All traits of a good deck officer.

I currently hold a OOW unlimited certificate of competence and actively looking to start the process of obtaining a chief officer unlimited certificate. My aim is to achieve master mariner certificate as a long-term career goal. Dedicated to enhancing maritime qualifications and leadership skills.
