Evie Robertshaw

I am a confident, self-motivated, pragmatic individual with a range of experience in Customer Service, in a retail environment. Since the studying my A-levels I have developed a keen interest in the environmental theories and their practical applications in addressing global climate change. This has motivated me to deepen my understanding of environmental science and its real-world applications. I’m currently looking for a new challenge in which I can apply my existing skills and develop new ones.

• In 2019 I travelled to Torremolinos to carry out a SportsAbroad camp to advance my swimming achievements, this camp taught me to be organised and equipped for learning and taught me discipline and time management.
• I won various awards for my Swimming, at county, regional and national level, these allowed me to become more resilient and to persevere with anything I take on.
• In 2021, I completed my Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award, after volunteering , carry out physical activity and learning a new skill for certain periods of time. This allowed me to improve on my socials skills with other people and taught me how to work as a team on my expedition.

• Presentations at Loughborough College - The effects of artificial intelligence on medicine.
• Derwent Valley Dam, Provided first-hand knowledge of water origins before treatment. Carsington Water - Developed knowledge of water treatment processes.
• River Ecology - Utilised sampling techniques to study ecological characteristics.
• Field Ecology - Conducted ecological research using various traps.
• Pollutant Testing - Conducted testing for phosphates and nitrates to assess water quality. Bioremediation Techniques, studied techniques for oil spills using microorganisms.
