• I work closely with nurses to maintain high level of communication in order to build positive relationships with patients and improve patients outcomes.

• I presented the highest level of personal care and attention to residents by carefully adhering to the residents care plans and ensuring that all meetings were polite, warm, friendly and supportive.
• I monitored vital signs regularly for early detections of health issues.
• I assisted in administering medications to residents as prescribed by their doctor and reported side effects or changes in residents' conditions to a senior carer on duty and updated their records as required.
• I ensured the bed sheets were changed and the beds were made regularly, i tied up the residents' rooms ( with the residents' permission ) and generally assisted in making sure the home was kept clean and welcoming at all times.
• I rendered help with providing physical support to assist resident's in performing daily activities such as getting out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, walking and exercising.
• I carried out house keeping duties and performed daily routines like serving meals and drinks at meal times, and presenting meals and drinks in an appealing way, with a pleasant and polite service. I also rendered support to residents who needed assistance with feeding.
• I assisted residents with mobility around the care home by safely using walking aids like wheelchair in a manner that respects the dignity of residents and helped in preventing accidents.
• I maintained residents' privacy, security, and dignity at all times, including residents behaviour, actions and incidents that may have occured in the course of day to day care.
• I liased with other care professionals, visitors and families of the residents in relation to the resident's care needs.
• I encouraged and supported the residents in participating in recreational activities as suitable to each of them, ensuring their emotional and social needs were met.
• I practised BLS and AED procedures when neccessary and during the course of training.
