Affiliations
- I have a keen interest in fitness, I enjoy swimming and love running with my friends. I am excited to take part in the 'Dash in the Dark', which is a 5 K run to raise money for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance. Previously, I was a competitive swimmer for many years, regularly competing at swimming meets up to Regional level. Swimming as part of a team was a fantastic experience and was helpful in developing resilience and teamworking. I particularly enjoyed travelling to Wales for swimming meets. I learnt to face challenges head on and I think this experience will be beneficial in the work place. I am studying Psychology at College and have recently attended a 'Seed Talk' at the Harbour Lights Picture House. This was a professional lecture run by a lead Forensic Psychologist in the UK. I found this lecture fascinating and enjoyed learning in an extra curricular professional environment. In the future, I would like to study Occupational Therapy. I have an interest in people and helping them to experience the most from their lives. I believe that working at Starbucks would provide me with a valuable opportunity to meet a range of people and I would enjoy having the opportunity to provide them with a positive experience. I am friendly and would endeavour to ensure the customers at Starbucks have a relaxing and enjoyable time. I am aware that I may need to deal with challenging situations and I believe that I am able to adapt and listen to the customer to provide them a positive experience while also maintaining the company's professional, reliable and friendly reputation.+
