Evan Ruddick

I am looking for an opportunity to undertake an IT apprenticeship and would really welcome an opportunity for an interview and an informal visit to discuss your position further.

I have experience as an IT apprentice at 53 North but unfortunately the role required me to undertake a degree level apprenticeship. I found the University work quite challenging for my level of knowledge at that time, having not studied computer science at A-level.

I decided to look for an alternative apprenticeship at a lower entry level that would suit my needs.

I really enjoyed the role and working within the team who were very supportive and encouraging. It allowed me to develop many new skills with on the job training.

I developed skills such as data interpretation, statistical analysis and visualisation and proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel, SQL and Python.

These skills were crucial for extracting insights from data to enhance business decisions. My experience as an apprentice has developed my problem solving and communication skills.

I enjoy working in strong teams and enjoy contributing to new ideas and innovations. I have developed good communication skills within my other jobs and I am used to working closely with customers to ensure services run smoothly.

My currently role I have developed my organisational skills and I can confidently work to tight deadlines in fast paced environments. I can work accurately whilst ensuring good team work and collaboration.

I would really appreciate a chance to develop a career in IT as I enjoy the subject and feel this role would provide me with the skill to develop further.

I am a keen sportsman and love playing football in my local team. I enjoy playing golf and also hiking in the peaks.

I am very passionate about music and often visit festivals and also being a DJ.

I love spending time with my friends and family and enjoy travel.
