Passion for management and leadership comes from being a big sister first which naturally leads into my career and my wish to not only plan kind care however, to implement kind care and lead my team to ensure our resident have a great quality of life by promoting and empowering the team to have the same shared goal and cultures through out the home.

My volunteer placement at BUDS Sandwell helped my understanding and delivery of care to my residents living on our memory community, my time at BUDS helped me to not only empathise with my residents but have a better understanding of how the disease works giving me the knowledge to lead my team to not only deliver compassionate but curious care and how important effective methods of communication is an imperative skill to have as a health care worker trying to supply outstanding care to residents living with Dementia.
