Key Achievements:

Strategic Leadership & partnership working

• Led the implementation, mobilisation, strategic oversight and sustainability planning of Oxfordshire's Hospital Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) service, securing continuation through development of an evidence-based business case and embedding the service within local domestic abuse pathways.
• Developed and maintained strong partnerships with the Integrated Care Board, Oxford University Hospitals and domestic abuse services, chairing multi-agency meetings and providing strategic oversight of the hospital IDVA service performance.
• Provided strategic support to the chair of the Oxfordshire Domestic Abuse Prevention and Provision Subgroup, overseeing delivery of strategic priorities.
• Led the planning and delivery of the annual county-wide Domestic Abuse Conference, bringing together partners from local government, NHS, education, safeguarding and voluntary sector organisations.

Commissioning, Contract Management and Performance Improvement

• Leading the recommissioning and market engagement activity for the Domestic Abuse Lived Experience Advisory Group contract, strengthening the integration of lived experience within commissioning and strategic decisions, service design and service delivery.
• Led the evaluation of the Domestic Abuse Lived Experience Advisory Group, developing evidence base to assess impact, representation and influence, with findings informing strategic recommissioning and future delivery models.
• Championed and embedded coproduction across domestic abuse partnerships, ensuring lived experience voices, including children and young people are meaningfully represented in strategic partnerships, service design and delivery.
• Providing contract and budget management and strategic oversight for the Lived Experience Advisory Group and Domestic Abuse Champions Network contracts, managing provider relationships, performance monitoring, governance and service improvement.
• Leading data-driven provider review meetings and co-chairing contract monitoring meetings for the Independent Domestic Violence Advisor service, scrutinising activity, outcomes and KPIs to drive continuous improvement and ensure delivery against contractual targets and commissioning objectives.

Public Health Intelligence, Research & Evaluation

• Leading collaboration with academic partners to develop a formal evaluation of the hospital IDVA service, including development of a research proposal and identification of publication opportunities to strengthen the evidence base of domestic abuse interventions and to inform future commissioning, service development and investment decisions.
• Led a comprehensive audit of Oxfordshire's Local Stop Smoking service, using health needs assessment findings, service performance and national guidance to develop evidence-based recommendations for service improvement and future commissioning.
• Successfully submitted abstracts through competitive peer-reviewed process and presented at the South East Public Health conference on two occasions, sharing findings, innovations and best practice in public health practice with regional audiences.
• Developed business case proposals, and recommendations to support strategic service development, sustainability and continuous improvement.

Professional development

• Expanded responsibilities into a Workforce Development Lead role alongside current role, providing leadership for Public Health workforce development programmes in Oxfordshire.
• Achieved UKPHR Practitioner Registration.

• Centre for Global programmes at University of York provides short English courses for students from around the world.

Key Responsibilities and achievements:

• Led the delivery of weekly virtual mentorship activities with students from around the world including from Ukraine, Japan and Thailand to support and improve their knowledge on the British Culture and English language.
• Suggested techniques and methods to help mentees reach educational, social, and professional goals.
• Facilitated workshops and group sessions to foster peer learning and collaboration.

• Fostered collaboration between faculty and students to create departmental communities that promoted equality, diversity and inclusivity among University of York students.

• Conducted pre-operative evaluation of patients before surgery.
• Conducted Intra-operative management of patients undergoing surgery under general, local or regional anaesthesia under supervision.
• Conducted post-operative pain review of patients.
• Educated patients and families undergoing surgery regarding anaesthesia, maintenance of health pre and post operatively and ensured patients were optimised prior to any surgical procedure.
• Demonstrated proper technique for cardiopulmonary resuscitation, provision of general anaesthesia and related drug therapy.

• Intensive Care Unit ICU and Accident and Emergency A&E.
• Examined and managed critically ill patients including patients who underwent open heart surgeries with attending consultants, conducting ward rounds with the attending consultants, and following up on treatment plans.
• Assessed patients for discharge or hospitalisation, handled emergencies, and referred patients to specialists as needed while at the A&E.
• Responded to code or health emergencies within standard guidelines.
• During clinical practice, under the supervision of my consultants, I was responsible for managing two rare cases of patients from admission into the ICU to discharge.
• This was an invaluable practical learning experience for the team and the reports were published in medical journals.
• Carried out day-to-day duties accurately and efficiently.

• Provided acute care to patients using available resources and consulting with the senior when needed.
• Assisted in data entry and maintenance of sensitive patient information into a computer database.
• Analysed test results and information gathered during examinations to properly diagnose illnesses and diseases.
