I enjoy reading, exercising, politics and current affairs. I am passionate about football and have been part of a club for the past 6years. I love being a member of a team (especially the social aspect of it) and we have won several trophies and competitions. I am also part of a local town band, where I have been playing the euphonium for 7 years, winning the “Mabel Grimwood Cup”, for being the best player throughout that year. Before that, I played the piano for 7 years and I achieved a grade 3 with a distinction.
I regard myself as being self-motivated and always on top of my schoolwork. English, Maths, the Sciences and History are the subjects that I enjoy most, while Latin and Maths are subjects that I have most improved in. Since I have been elected prefect, I have taken an interest in the wellbeing of others within the school. I have also partaken in a wellbeing course, which ensures that I can listen intently to other people’s worries and concerns and that I can then deal with them appropriately and sensitively. Additionally, I take an active interest in environmental and scientific issues. I further that interest by listening to podcasts, reading books and familiarising myself with current political topics and debates. I believe that I am a reliable, hard-working individual, who is looking for a part job this summer, in order to gain vital experience of working life.
