As part of the Designated Safeguarding Lead Role, I took the lead and am responsible for any child protection issues within the school;

• Communication - Reporting to the local authority, other professionals, and the police.
• Reporting to and communicating with the LADO.
• Act as a source of advice and expertise for staff.
• The ability to quickly formulate positive relationships with staff, stakeholders, and other professionals.
• Managing referrals and ensuring that information is shared decisively and effectively.

• Regular CPD and development of my knowledge.
• Lead staff training.
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and secure record keeping.

Creating a culture of safety and respect in a school with high-risk behaviours due to Social and emotional needs.

• Leading on and delivering training centred around de-escalation and behaviour management.

• Ensuring that the school meets and maintains legal requirements in line with 'Use of reasonable force in schools' and 'Keeping children safe in education'.

Within this role, I led the development, training, and progress of Mathematics within the school. The role included;

• Managing behaviour, marking work and talking to parents and carers about their children's progress.

As part of this role, I have completed mystery shopping audits, pub TV licensing audits, and till audits at large UK supermarkets.

Here I worked as a leader and coordinator, which involved directing and managing a small team of assistants, guiding and mentoring a large group of children, and assisting them in both their learning and wellbeing.
