I have always had a passion for SEND and making sure children with special educational needs have a champion. I have taken on roles and class teacher, special needs teacher and SENDCo to make sure I have a better understanding of what is needed to create an inclusive culture within the classroom. I am a dedicated professional with extensive expertise in Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Disabilities, especially in autism spectrum disorders/ SEMH and Communication and Interaction difficulties. I am a good communicator, leader, and can collaborative planning to develop and implement inclusive education strategies. I believe it is important to be committed to child-centred approaches, safeguarding children, and fostering parental liaison.
My career goal is to continue advocating for inclusivity and excellence in SEN education through strategic leadership and innovative practices and I feel I have reached a point in my journey, where I would like to make a difference within a different role, than that of class teacher or SEN- co-ordinator. I consider myself to be an energetic employee, who is well-versed in strong communication and organisation skills. I seek solutions to problems and I am good at multi-tasking, leading group discussions and managing projects.
I feel that I am now ready to take on a bigger role in which my mission is to make sure, all children who cannot remain within the school system, get what they not only need, but what they deserve.
