As the owner of the business I was responsible for all aspects of the smooth running of a busy guest house which included customer care, housekeeping, catering, accounting, managing staff and marketing.

In my time as the owner, I took the business to No 1 on Trip Advisor where it remained until my husband and I sold the business.

I worked alongside the Protection of Vulnerable Adults Lead to co ordinate meetings involving multi agencies such as police, probation, education, nursing etc to ensure that vulnerable adults within Denbighshire were safeguarded from abuse.

It was my role to manage the referrals and chair the multi agency meetings and to ensure that there was an effective risk management plan in place.

• Communicated and collaborated with patients to plan, assess and evaluate effective care programmes.
• Completed accurate, detailed patient records to carefully monitor progress and improvements.
• Consulted with psychiatrists and other behavioural health staff in designing appropriate treatment plans for clients.
• Moved into a management role as a Clinical Risk Manager responsible for managing risk withing the Mental Health by working alongside multi agency stakeholders such as police, probation etc.
• Responsible for the investigation of serious incidents such as suicide, homicide etc
