Leading Agricultural planning department starting from day old parent stock. 79 weeks rolling plan throughout factory operations for final product to meet weight specific retail and commercial sales on a large scale.

Key responsibilities:
- Leading, developing, and maintaining local processes to support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) function, ensuring seamless integration across departments.

- Responsible for both long-term and short-term agricultural production planning, including sales forecasts, production volumes, raw material requirements, and surplus product management.

- Optimising raw material planning and utilisation to maximise financial value, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.

- Coordinating and managing breeder rearing and laying schedules to align with production targets and ensure consistent quality output.

As the Planning Manager for 1 site, I was responsible for overseeing and coordinating the planning functions across four large departments, including Kill, Cut, Pack, and Further Processing, with additional oversight of the night shift operations. My role focuses on optimizing site capacity to ensure that production schedules are met efficiently and that customer service levels consistently reach 100%. By managing all aspects of production planning, I drove operational excellence, ensuring seamless coordination across departments to meet both production and customer demand.

Key responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and available capacity, while considering critical factors such as lead times, machine availability, and labour requirements to ensure optimal production flow.

- Monitoring and analysing key performance indicators (KPIs), including production output, product shelf life, waste rates, and delivery performance, to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhance operational efficiency.

- Implementing process and system changes to improve production efficiency, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules while maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction.

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Agriculture, Sales, Demand Planning, Purchasing, Quality Control, and Maintenance, to ensure smooth coordination and timely resolution of any production issues.
