My second summer placement at the firm within the Accident and Industrial disease teams allowed me to further enhance my customer service skills through speaking with clients one to one, obtaining statements and information in order to proceed with their claim.
Working as part of a wider team of varying positions in order to progress and deliver client claims highlights my ability to work effectively within a team in order to ensure customer satisfaction. Additionally, this role enabled me to interact with clients and act as the point of contact for the firm for their case. The fast paced nature of the law firm has enabled me to effectively work hard and respond to issues that arise under pressure while still ensuring customer service and satisfaction are paramount at all times.
After successful completion of my Summer placement, I was asked to continue working remotely whilst at university, balancing the demands of my degree alongside part-time remote work.
This opportunity allowed me to continue to develop my excellent customer service skills and my ability to work remotely within a wider team operating in a different location. In addition to gaining new experience, balancing working 2 days a week remotely for the firm alongside my studies, ensuring delivery.
Working at one of Scotland's leading personal injury law firms enabled me to gain expert knowledge and experience in how to deliver exceptional customer service to customers and clients.
Entirely centered around client care and customer service my responsibilities included engaging with clients in preparation for class actions involving significant data breaches. Contacting clients and prospective clients by phone and email, obtaining information to set up their claim and answering any quieres clients had.
This role provided me with the essential skill and ability to provide exceptional customer service. The importance of client confidentiality and always ensuring client satisfaction alongside excellent customer service experience.
Through this role I have demonstrated by ability to work effectively within and alongside a wider team, of varying positions. The ability to follow instruction and ensuring the work of the wider team ran smoothly.
