I was responsible for day-to-day tasks to maintain the recirculatory aquaculture system which housed lobsters including cleaning, animal husbandry and maintenance of biosecurity.

I joined Food Train in early days of the Covid-19 crisis to support vulnerable older people. This post was created due to emergency funding from the Scottish Govt.

I was responsible for organising and distributing media opportunities to SYCS volunteers based in Glasgow, ensuring equal opportunity was afforded to all those keen to do media-based work.
I maintained multiple working relationships with journalists and editors and communicated with them promptly and efficiently.
I carried out various pieces of media work to tight deadlines and a high standard- contributing to press releases, radio & television interviews (both live and pre-recorded), recording vox pops and social media content, writing articles and opinion pieces for newspapers and the RSPB youth magazine, I also coordinated a team of young people to guest-edit a special edition of a national newspaper ahead of a big event.
