I have completed formal training in Textiles and Costume Design, where I developed strong technical and creative skills across garment construction, fabric manipulation and surface design. My studies covered pattern cutting, hand and machine sewing, textile techniques, costume history and character design, enabling me to understand both the practical and conceptual aspects of garment creation.
Throughout my course, I produced a range of constructed garments and costume pieces, working from initial research and design development through to final production. I gained experience in interpreting briefs, creating mood boards, producing technical drawings and selecting appropriate fabrics and materials. Particular emphasis was placed on precision, attention to detail and maintaining high standards of finish.
My education also strengthened my understanding of working to deadlines, managing projects independently and collaborating within group productions. This foundation has equipped me with strong hand skills, creativity and the ability to work accurately within structured production environments.
