  • I started work at Iver Village infant school in Buckinghamshire in September 2017 where in the morning I managed and ran a small unit for children with special educational needs assisting them and working to try and incorporate them into the classroom environment this includes using curriculum plans and then adapting them to suit the children's needs supporting and helping parents with EHCPS whilst contacting outside agencies to help get the best support throughout for the children
  • During the afternoons I taught PE lessons to all infant school children as well as organising school events such as sports weeks, healthy eating days and schoolhouse competitions we have a nursery onsite which I visit weekly to encourage sports as well as making any events accessible for all children
  • In October 2019 I took over the preschool SENCO role, I became keyworker for children starting
  • Preschool that parents/carers had noticed that their children may have additional educational needs I accessed the children individually as well as calling in outside agencies to help with assessments for these children to try and get any additional help/funding required before the children started in reception
