  • I started working with the Home Conveyancing team at Connells in October 2018 processing refunds after completion of a purchase through the group, I quickly progressed to processing search orders on properties people are buying as well as dealing with queries from Lawyers, customers, and search providers. On a weekly basis I provided the wider business with details of income from completions, processing invoices as well as providing the wider business with detailed conversion data & monthly achievement targets.
  • Duties:
  • Use of Excel to keep accurate records of refunds
  • Use of Land Registry website to locate correct title plans download and utilise
  • Check processes have been followed and amend if needed
  • Process refunds as required ensuring all requirements have been adhered to
  • Produce weekly invoices for lawyers dependent on completions they have had that week
  • Create and collate reports of conversion using them to produce targets and distribute to wider business by email

  • I started working for Platform sales and hire as a service administrator in December 2012. My role included diary management for the service engineer alongside quoting customers for service and maintenance of their machines then seeing through the ordering process to ensure parts are available for any repairs required. I quickly noticed that the training side of the business had lots more potential so started working towards making everyone aware of our training department. I managed to build up from doing training 1 day a week with an external trainer to having a dedicated training facility in both Milton Keynes and Sutton Coldfield and 2 full time employed trainers, at this point I became the full time training co-ordinator, managing the diaries of both trainers along with managing the processing of licences for the trainees from the imputing of the trainers daily paperwork right through to the delivery of the licence to the customer, this included invoicing and taking payments. I had a customer facing role which includes telephone and face to face meetings and feel my customer service and telephone manner is very good.
  • Duties:
  • Front of house duties including telephone, greeting visitors to the offices, accepting deliveries and ensuring they get to the correct person

  • Quote customers either over the phone or by email (keeping accurate records of each quotation)
