With three decades of experience in the housebuilding and property industry, I am passionate about creating safe and sustainable developments that people aspire to live in. Drawing from my industry knowledge, I recognise the challenges of the cost of living and rising energy bills, as well as the evolving construction landscape marked by increased material costs, resource issues in the planning environment, and a shortage of skilled trades. This awareness drives my focus on energy-efficient home design and construction methods that not only reduce costs for the end user but also benefit developers. Having a clear plan is essential, but I also understand the importance of being agile and adaptable to changing circumstances. My focus is on understanding financial implications and achieving business objectives to ensure success while still being able to support buyers-whether pursuing homeownership or rental options-on their journey to finding a property they are proud to call home. After working closely with the team for 2 years, the role I was initially employed to undertake has changed dramatically, this is not just a result of the challenges faced in the market but also difficulties that have faced the modular industry, in addition we have also had to navigate numerous legacy issues.
Sitting within the senior leadership team I have been instrumental in the 'Turnaround' of the business, working to identify key areas to focus the strategic pathway for the business, implementing the rightsizing of the team and responsible for the closing of the Southwest region and divestment of the land portfolio.
I have introduced a CRM system into the business, developed an App, and worked up a new range of homes for the changing production strategy.
In addition, I am responsible for Customer Care, PR and Communications internally and externally, to stakeholders including Skanska and IKEA, HA partnerships along with Land Divestment, which has been critical to the business plan.

I also acted for a client's family trust on land transactions with long-term investment opportunities as well as housing associations for sales of shared ownership and equity properties alongside market research papers and aftercare including inspections.

A land trade from Red Line to an overseas Investor keen to start a development company, offered an opportunity of a joint venture company with funding available and a desire to grow the business.
With in-house expertise in legals and construction, we went on to build out schemes across the south from refurbishment of listed buildings to large, detached family homes.
Responsible for land acquisition, planning, letting build contracts, budget control, setting and sourcing product specifications, collating marketing collateral, instructing agents to sell homes, managing handovers and aftercare.

Living in a busy household with my husband, three adult children and dog, I appreciate the importance of quality time and enjoy spending time socialising and being with family and friends. Walking my crazy, over-active cockapoo Brian is a key part of the weekend and a fantastic opportunity to catch up with everyone or just taking time out to reflect. I love to travel and visit new places, taking the opportunity to whenever possible. My role and leadership programme have enabled me to visit many new places across the Nordics which has been an unexpected bonus for the position and added new location stamps to my passport! My passion is my Peloton. It is a wonderful way to exercise but as good as it is, it cannot beat getting out in the fresh air, I also love to ski and get out on the water on a paddleboard.
