I have worked one to one and with small groups with children with additional needs and those who need extra support. I have worked on many pastoral, social and emotional and emotional literacy based interventions over my time at the school. I have more recently taken on the role of Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) in which I undertake one to one listening and helping work with individual children in school who may be experiencing some emotional difficulties. I use art and play to support these children in their therapy and prioritise the relationship using person centred themes to support my role. I receive group supervision with an educational psychologist regularly.
