Looking after around 100 accounts in the North West, with selected accounts from Preston to Edinburgh, developing new business both in the retail showrooms & more recently in the last 3 years working closely with selected Ecom clients. Working alongside the manufacturer representative's daily, planning displays & liaising with the fitting team, designing & maintaining the ongoing changes within the in house showroom, planning & delivering training in house & externally. Using a CRM system daily, stock taking once yearly.

Due to unforeseen circumstances the business closed at the end of 2008 leaving me unemployed.

I joined Broughton's when I left school as an Accounts Office Junior but soon realised that Accounting was not for me so took the opportunity to move into the busy Sales Office. My duties involved taking back to back sales calls, processing orders, handling queries, arranging returns, liaising with the transport department, ordering stock, checking purchase orders. In April 1998 I was promoted to the Broughton House Collection, a specialist department with in the company selling Villeroy & Boch to UK retail outlets. My day to duties remained the same but I was looking after a selected number of clients and supporting the two ASM's covering the country. In August 2001 I was promoted to Area Sales Manager for the Broughton House Collection, looking after around 200 accounts covering the North of England, the Midlands and Scotland selling high end bathroom products and kitchen and plumbing products. This was my first experience of area sales and also plumbing and kitchen sales. I gained a lot of valuable experience of account management throughout this time which stood me in good stead to then go on and work for some of the Industries prestigious companies.
