Recent achievements include;

• Acquiring a key competitor to expand the product range and secure company long term future.
• Taking the lead to ensure the smooth customer transition from the competitor to the company.
• Securing two key public sector contracts which resulted in an initial increase of £1.6 million to company turnover and ensuring an increase to annual profits year on year.
• Successfully managing and growing key accounts within the corporate clothing sector, Transport for London being the most recent.
• Providing ongoing and successful relationship management to ensure the company is in a strong negotiating position for future tender requirements.
• Securing the contract for the rollout of headwear to the Canadian Navy.
• Analysing possible positive and negative effects of proposed business developments to guide strategy development.
• Analysing sales value to identify trends and update strategies.
• Retaining a loyal customer base whilst taking the business into new markets, both at home and overseas.

Successfully started and ran my own business selling a wide range of prams, nursery goods and furniture, making a profit in year one and increasing this year on year.

• Implementing a successful sales and marketing system, specifically designed for an SME, in collaboration with Liverpool John Moores University.
• Introducing, designing and producing sales and marketing literature to a Production-focused organisation.
• Delivering results in terms of increasing market share in key military, leisure and catering headwear markets.
