Affiliations

  • I place a strong value on the role of extra-curricular activities in enriching pupils' confidence, wellbeing, and sense of community. Over the years, I have led a wide range of after-school clubs, including gardening, dance, and choir, and have actively created opportunities for pupils to share their talents beyond the school environment—for example, escorting the school choir to perform at the Royal Albert Hall in Nottingham. In addition to club leadership, I have supported the School Council (Years 1–6) and helped empower pupils to take ownership of charitable initiatives. I organised and hosted a ‘Make a Wish' fundraising evening in which the choir performed and School Council members ran stalls and supported younger pupils; together we raised several hundred pounds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. These experiences reflect my commitment to fostering creativity, teamwork, leadership, and community engagement across the whole school.
