Emma Dyson

Rotherham,England

Summary

I am an incredibly hardworking English Lecturer with over 15 years experience in education. I joined Rotherham College in September 2024 as an English and Maths Skills coach and was quickly promoted to an English Lecturer in December of that same year. I am a fast and capable learner, always striving to excel in whatever roles and responsibilities that I am given. My particular strengths are in my communication skills. I listen to the needs of the individual, ensuring that they feel valued, seeking help from other members within the team as and when required. I ensure that I have a strong working knowledge of the environment that I work in, familiarising myself with all systems and resources necessary to provide an excellent service. I build strong professional relationships with members of the team, offering and accepting help as required in order to strengthen relationships and develop as a team. I am passionate about giving clients the experience that they deserve, ensuring that they leave with a strong sense of fulfillment. Having worked in education for over 15 years, I understand the need to be flexible, and I believe this is an important attribute in any job role. I welcome changes and actively seek out professional development. I enjoy a challenge and the sense of satisfaction that comes with having made a difference to someone's day. Given the opportunity, I would certainly thrive in a customer service role, using my many years of experience as a dedicated and patient teacher and mentor.
