Worked as part of a four person team to manage all operational logistics for the orchestra to accompany four separate operas during the summer season. Responsibilities included:
Staking the pit and changing the setup for each of the different productions
Cleaning the pit and the backstage area daily to keep a tidy work environment for the musicians
Being onhand for all rehearsals and performances to provide the conductor or instrumentalists with any assistance as needed (ie. replacing batteries in stand lights, helping move auxiliary percussion, altering the score librarian to issues with page turns ect.)
Setting up rehearsal rooms across campus. This included moving pianos and percussion equipment as a team to manage the weight of the objects.
Assisting the music librarian by copying all bowings into string parts.

Is a communicant member of the Church of England. (Baptized and confirmed in the Methodist Church, but began attending CoE services at Birmingham Cathedral when I moved to the UK in 2023 for my MA degree. I intend to remain a member so long as I continue to live in the UK.)
Recently accepted to be part of the 2025/26 cohort in the Royal School of Church Music's Emerging Leaders Programme which will begin meeting in July of this year.

Leads weekly rehearsals in preparation for between four to six concerts per season
Meets with committee members to create an overall plan and budget for each season. Also meets with the committee to monitor and assist with preparing the logistics for each concert.
Currently planning a tour to Spain with Di Voci for February of 2026. This involves making contact with potential partner organizations, examining venues, choosing repertoire, and working with the committee to manage travel logistics and the budget to support the tour.

Currently working as part of a three person team to create the first key stage one (years one and two) mass for approximately one hundred and fifty children hosted by the Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King this coming June
Working alongside the full teaching staff of eight to prepare approximately one thousand students from primary through secondary school to come together to sing in the Good Shepherd Mass hosted by the Metropolitan Cathedral this coming June
Designed the curriculum for a new Saturday morning music programme for years one and two. Currently co-teaches classes within the programme and oversees a staff of two other teachers.
Assists the Director of Music at the Metropolitan Cathedral in preparing the choristers to sing six masses each week.

Over the course of four years, worked in progressively larger parish churches with average Sunday Eucharist attendance numbers of 200, Annapolis Lutheran Church 300, Aldersgate United Methodist Church, and 350, Sydenstricker United Methodist Church. The choirs ranged from 10 to 35 members.
Met weekly with the lead pastor to discuss the upcoming Sunday services and to plan between 4-6 weeks in advance.
Special projects included the fundraising for an installation of a small organ for Annapolis Lutheran, running a six month search to find a suitable replacement following the retirement of the organist of 20 years at Aldersgate UMC, and building a children's music ministry at Sydenstricker UMC.
Choir membership grew at each church as did the choir's ability and confidence
