As a young, eager, and committed individual, I am actively seeking a career in aviation as cabin crew. My motivation stems from my desire to assist others and deliver exceptional customer service, qualities that are vital in this industry. Over the past few years, I have cultivated skills that align well with the demands of this role. My adaptability allows me to navigate challenges creatively and resiliently. Moreover, my confidence and strong communication skills are assets that enhance my ability to engage with clients and colleagues alike. My peers often describe me as an effective team player; I believe that successful teamwork hinges on active listening and empathy. An example of this was during the Duke of Edinburgh Award exhibition when I facilitated open communication among team members to assign roles based on individual strengths. This approach fostered a sense of value within the group and contributed significantly to our success.
In my previous role as Supply Nursery Practitioner, I looked after babies and young children up to the age of five. My main duties included providing children with a safe environment to learn, helping them to develop basic social and behavioural skills and engaging them in age-appropriate play activities.
As a Family Worker, I supported special guardians and foster carers, planning support groups, events and training sessions. I also undertook family finding for the young people and ensured that they were with families that could meet their needs into adulthood.
In my role as a Therapeutic Practitioner, I worked with children who had experienced trauma. I listened, guided, and advised children sensitively, offering comfort during challenging times and sharing their joy when appropriate. I always ensured the safety of each child and was alert to any indication of stress or abuse and reporting accordingly.
In my role as an accounting and assurance associate, I prepared financial accounts and performed audits for clients. I had the opportunity to visit clients which greatly developed my interpersonal skills.
In this role I worked in the Customer Services department where my responsibilities were dealing with customer issues, running reports, making stationary orders and updating the company website. However, I also had the opportunity to gain experience in the Operations department and the Accounts department.
My role as a Sales Advisor was to serve customers at the till, recommend products to customers, sort deliveries, tidy the shop floor and count the money in the tills at the end of the work day. My job at New Look improved my emotional intelligence and my resilience.
My part time job as a Waitress gave me the skills under-pressure and helped me to become a great problem-solver. My role in this job was to serve customers, make drinks, handle money at the till and on occasions, prepare food.
