Fully trained on basic NHS health checks, Children and adult basic life support, Blood testing, and any subsequent nonclinical analysis. Able to administer First aid without supervision. Well versed in basic wound care and dressing, able to manage concussion, fractures, dislocations, seizures and epilepsy, diabetes, and other respiratory emergencies. Committed to complying with all First Aid, Health and safety, and practice procedures and protocols.
· Support and assist servicer users with budgeting money, grocery, shopping and managing their income.
· Support and monitor their ability to engage with every day living skills and identify their needs where necessary.
· To show empathy, understanding and wants to all of our young service users in a parent- like manner, to be observant but not judgmental.
· To encourage young service users to engage and take part in local activities and events where possible.
· Produce high-standard monthly progress reports and liaise with the house Manager with regards to each young person’s progress, incidents and daily logs as well as assisting them to settle into their accommodation in the local community.
· Maintaining confidentiality of service users, which further enhances their confidence in sharing vital information to get the help and support they need.
· Assisting patient with personal care tasks, including feeding, toileting, medication management, dressing, in a respectful and dignified manner.
· Assisting Patient with mobility and physical support, including the use of specialist equipment and aids to ensure wellbeing and comfort.
· Supporting with patient care, non-clinical support and infection control as well as providing basic wound care with support from the Nursing team
· Identifying concerns with patients’ health and escalating to the clinical team when necessary
· Carrying out basic health checks, including height, weight, pulse and providing associated lifestyle advice
· Maintaining accurate patient records in line with standard operating procedures
Acting as first point of contact in providing Basic life support including cardiopulmonary resuscitation
· Provided in-home care to my elderly Grand parents including companionship, personal care, accompanying them for their medical appointments and home making.
· Responsible for grocery shopping, feeding, personal hygiene, living assistance and acting as first point of contact between my grandparents and their Clinic
· Supervising and monitoring children to ensure their safety before their parents/Guardian pick them up.
· Helping children with their school task to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum.
