Emily Ann Feasey

From November 2024, I have volunteered supporting Children with additional needs through doing different activities with them and teaching them new skills such as Art, Baking, and Computer Skills. This Experience has taught me how to work in a team environment and learn skills such as patience, understanding, and communication.

I volunteered as a football coach from October 2023 to May 2024 with Select Soccer. I assisted with coaching every week, coaching children aged 2 to 11. This allowed me to gain new experiences such as leading training sessions, communicating with coaches and children, and working with other coaches to lead training sessions. In addition to this, I worked as a coach at the select soccer holiday courses in the half terms, where I would be in charge of 15-20 children of a variety of ages while they played matches and completed training drills. I valued this experience because it gave me a taste of the work life and allowed me to gain confidence in communicating with the children, parents, and coaches.
