Emily Steele

Friendly, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with experience in cooking, food prep, kitchen porter tasks and customer service. Confident in chatting to both adults and children and always happy to work as part of a team to give customers a great experience. Cooking meals regularly for an energetic 3-year-old brother, making dinner for the whole family once a week, and learning about Hospitality and Catering at school - like food hygiene, nutrition, and health and safety, have all built up good experience.

Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award .

The following activities were completed as part of the DofE award -

• a two day one night expedition,
• a 6 month Cookery course with "Be in the Kitchen" (skills),
• 3 months of Table Tennis (physical); and
• 3 months of Knitting for the Blankets without Borders charity helping people with dementia (volunteering).
