Dedicated and compassionate Day Team Leader with experience in the healthcare sector, overseeing nursing, dementia, and residential units to ensure high standards of care and a safe, supportive environment for residents. With around a year of hands-on experience as a carer and nine months in a leadership role, I manage day-to-day operations, administer medications, and lead personal care activities to support residents in achieving their daily living needs.
I actively participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings to contribute to comprehensive care planning and collaborate with medical and support staff to enhance resident outcomes. My role also includes extensive experience in medication administration and monitoring, as well as adherence to the highest standards of infection control and safeguarding practices.
Possessing a wide range of training and competencies, including Emergency First Aid at Work, Fire Safety, Moving and Handling, End of Life Care, GDPR level one and two, Infection Control and Prevention, Safeguarding Adults level one and two, Medication Administration, Deaf awareness, Level One Award in Food Safety and Allergy Awareness, Basic life support, CPR, Anti-phishing training, and Dementia Care, I am well-equipped to uphold best practices and regulatory standards within a care setting.
