Enthusiastic NQT with OTS and significant placement experience teaching all subjects following the National Curriculum and school curriculum from ages 3-11. My degree specialism included KS2, ages 7-11, in primary school. I am eager to combine my academic achievements and thorough placement experience to engage in a teaching assistant position. Throughout my training, learning strategies have been developed to acknowledge and cater to individual learning needs and implement behaviour management strategies to manage challenging behaviour. I have created the ability to adapt lessons to motivate and engage learning, resulting in effective classroom learning. Setting precise tasks and attainable goals encourages positive and passionate engagement.
Throughout my initial teacher training placement at Ryhope Junior School, I spent 14 weeks working alongside and under the supervision of a dedicated team of primary school teachers. I taught thirty-s year four pupils various subjects in the National Curriculum during the placement.

Prioritizing and protecting the health and well-being of the children of the school, reporting concerns where necessary and building positive and trusting relationships with pupils to ensure changes in behaviour can be addressed. In addition, I ensured that throughout my time at Ryhope Junior School, I stayed updated on safeguarding practices through training and vigilance.
Whilst working at The Cooper Rose Wetherspoons, which is situated in the busy city centre of Sunderland, I have gained a variety of skills which are integral to being a server and bar server but transfer into a variety of different career paths, including resilience to adapt to any changes in circumstances and the ability to bounce back to a positive customer experience by continuing to have a positive outlook. This determination encourages me to do my job correctly and continue working to a high standard. Additionally, working as a server and bar server, my patience and attitude had been positively impacted in every scenario, and my willingness to learn and adapt when necessary.
Throughout my initial teacher training placement at Southwick Primary School, I spent 11 weeks working alongside and under the supervision of a dedicated team of primary school teachers. During placement, I taught 18, year-five pupils various subjects in the National Curriculum.
Throughout my placement during my health and social BTEC, I spent five months working alongside and under the supervision of a dedicated team of secondary school teachers. Where I was responsible for supporting SEND pupils aged between 11 and 16.
