Summary

I would consider myself a hard-working and resilient individual. My work in hospitality has taught me the importance of excellent customer service and how to create a calm, approachable presence that can make the customer not only trust you but want to listen to your recommendations. Alongside this, my work as a teaching assistant has taught me how to adapt to different situations under pressure. I am able to communicate articulately and professionally with colleagues, students and parents.

Volunteering

  • In August 2024 I went to Sri Lanka with Plan My Gap Year for 3 weeks to Volunteer at pre schools, dog shelters and an orphanage. This eye opening experience also introduced me to different communities filled with hard working individuals that were living in deprived areas.
  • When I was 15 I volunteered at a local primary school where I assisted in the production of their school play 'Honk!'. I attended the school once a week for the school year and helped with choreography, staging, props, makeup etc.
