  • As an account assistant I was responsible for posting journals for month and year end closing, processing the weekly payroll, processing and making weekly pensions payments, helping HR when required / short staffed, managing attachments of earnings for weekly staff.
  • After initial period, I was promoted to lead the Purchase ledger side on the top of my daily duties. This included purchase ledger, making manual and automated payments on a daily and 3-day standard basis and liaising with both suppliers and internal staff across the full range of departments when queries arose.
  • Processing between 10-100 invoice per day on average, although at the start of a month as many as 200-250 invoices can be processed in any one day.
  • The processing of invoices using 3 way matching to GRN's and PO's, ensuring both quantity's and prices are what we have agreed to, and if need be requesting credit notes for discrepancies.
