While working at Boundary Outlet for over a year, it has meant I have had to work on and improve my communication and teamwork skills as in a retail environment, they are vital. They were put to the test by: handling customer complaints in a professional manner, while making sure these issues are resolved promptly. Processing deliveries thoroughly and checking all stocked goods are up to standard. Educating customers on product features and benefits resulting in a number of increased sales. Working with other employees to overcome problems together and engage in the tasks given at hand.

I spent a week at Aughton Junior and Infant School during sixth form to really get an insight into how the Health and Social care sector played out. Within this time I was able to put my communication and resilience skills by helping with things like preparing classroom materials to facilitate efficient lessons, participated in conversations with the teachers regarding the student's progress or problems and offered one-on-one guidance to struggling students for improved performance.
