Emily Harding

I am a friendly and compassionate individual who has grown significantly, both personally and significantly, over the past few years.

I have developed strong communication skills from regularly participating and leading team-based activities where effective collaboration is crucial.

This was not something I found easy to start with, however now I feel more confident in myself and in social situations and have grown more confident over time.

In 2024, I completed work experience with 'ARUP' which provided valuable insight into the professional engineering environment.

During this time, I gained exposure to projects and developed an understanding of key considerations such as workplace safety, budgeting etc.

This experience strengthened my ability to work collaboratively with new colleagues and adapt quickly within a professional setting.

In my free time I attend Air Cadets twice a week, which I have a strong passion for, with possible hopes to join the RAF in a few years time.

I strongly believe this has helped me gain communication and leadership skills in the process.

Being part of the cadets has significantly increased my confidence, particularly when speaking in groups and taking the lead in activities.

I know that the skills I have gained through Cadets will support me in the workplace, whether that is assisting customers or supporting colleagues as part of a team.

This also refers to representation of myself and the store, uniform standards, time management and discipline.

I would describe myself as a hard working determined individual who will bring a high standards and strong work ethic with each task i complete to my highest standard.
