• I worked with children presenting with a range of speech and language difficulties, including Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), phonological disorder, and childhood apraxia of speech. The placement also provided opportunities to work with deaf children, during which I developed skills in using sign language.
• I used a wide range of formal and informal assessment tools, such as the CELF, the DEAP, the TALC, The TROG, Language for Thinking and many more.
• I carefully planned personalised care plans for each child and carried out therapy sessions.
• I familiarised myself with SystemONE and documented detailed notes after each session.
