Lead and developed engaging PE and Games lessons across KS3 and KS4, encouraging student participation and engagement as well as ensuring the development of skills, fitness and knowledge in a variety of sports.

Worked collaboratively, creating and contributing to department Schemes Of Work, Assessments and Resources.

Guided students through the GCSE PE course, delivering both theoretical and practical content effectively with 84% of students achieving a grade 4-9. Also monitored student progress through assessment and provided appropriate interventions to support student progress such as parental communication, after school intervention, organising practical support in additional sports such as cycling, swimming and athletics.

Ran after school clubs and fixtures, ensuring there were wider opportunities for students to participate in both recreational and competitive sport. Also responsible for organising a Year 8, 9 and 10 Netball Tour to PGL, to not only develop their netball skills but foster their personal development and growth.

Took lead on Careers within the Curriculum for the PE department by ensuring students had opportunities to understand how the PE Curriculum can contribute to future careers. This was done through the delivery of PE Careers based lessons and by organising external speakers from the Sports Industry to meet and speak with out students.

Contributed to the wider school community in my role of Head of House, promoting the themes of Charity, Community and Competition within both the staff and student body. Within this role, I organised whole school events to raise money for selected charities, interhouse competitions to encourage student involvement in wider school activities as well as leading and delivering House assemblies.

Organised 3 successful Sports Days ensuring the day ran smoothly and safely. Organised staff roles to support with the running of the day, equipment and activity set up and the allocation of student activities in weeks prior to the day.

Ensured student welfare and safeguarding by following school policies, completing relevant training and using relevant platforms (CPOMS).

Worked closely with senior and prep school teachers to plan, lead and assist in PE and games lessons.

Working with Sports Scholars, providing them with academic and practical sessions each week. I also arranged trips, speakers and extra-curricular opportunities.

Supporting in the running and delivery of whole school events such as cross country and interhouse events.

Worked closely with teachers to plan and deliver PE lessons and extra-curricular sessions in a variety of sports.

Balanced a variety of administrative jobs such as planning and organising fixtures and creating weekly catering and bulletin documents.

Helped in the organisation of general day to day life in the boarding school, ie, helping the students with general organisation, study support and school trips.

Responsible for providing excellent customer service and handling queries over the telephone and in person.

Developed administrative skills.

Worked a variety of busy functions and events such as weddings, proms and christenings.

Demonstrated the ability to think of my feet in difficult and unforeseen circumstances.
