• I help to edit articles that other students submit for the journal, on topics concerning social justice. Here, I proof read and adjust grammar, and assess the readability of the piece.
• I create posts such as stories and grid posts on Instagram to promote the articles.
• I assess the relevance of images included in the article, and select those that I feel would fit best with my copy for the posts.
• This is the second year of the journal, therefore I am joining the committee to aid the promotion of their social media.
• I have formed relevant plans to increase followers and insights through Instagram.

• I constructed an advertisement to send out to potential teachers on various platforms such as Instagram and email.

• I made phone calls to each teacher personally, using my verbal communication skills to successfully recruit professional teachers

• I use excellent written communication skills to negotiate pay, send across documents and organise a schedule for classes.

• I meet the professional teachers every session to ensure I am sustaining King's College London's excellent reputation, using my interpersonal skills to fulfil any needs the teachers may have.

• I collaborate with the social media manager to showcase and promote our classes across different online platforms.

• I ensure that invoices are sent to the finance team on time, prioritising efficiency with a strong sense of urgency.

• I plan and evaluate my lessons, enforce rules and work according to policies and procedures within the dance school and for the exam board (ISTD), always prioritising health, safety and the confidentiality of students' information.
• I constructed social media posts to give students 'top tips'- using language to inform and inspire.
• I use Canva, learnt through my Diploma in Dance Education, to create engaging posts and learning materials for the students and parents. I utilise my attention to detail to write succinct points that both children and adults can engage with.

• I was trained in answering the phone to customers and other members of staff and constructing emails to outside companies.
• I created spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel for daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
• I would organise and meticulously check deliveries to ensure that the company’s reputation for efficiency and attention to detail was maintained.

• Assisted with the dance teaching of preschool, primary and grade 1 classes
• I took registers and money, communicated with and answered parents’ questions, and took directions from the lead teacher, supporting the pupils
• I also played the music in an exam setting, remaining professional.

• I achieved many positive comments online from customers regarding my exceptional customer service and regularly hit my sales targets, overachieving under pressure in peak times.
• I mentored new employees, ensuring clear verbal and written communication within my feedback.

I am currently the Student Representative for the BA Year 2 English Language and Linguistics. Here, I gather insights from my peers through conversation and google form, and report these to the course leader at SSLC meetings- using graphs to illustrate views from the cohort.

I have gained high passes on units regarding safe dance practice and safeguarding, knowledge of syllabi, marketing for a dance school, social, emotional and cognitive development.

I am currently studying the last unit in practical teaching- using my confidence to communicate well and my knowledge of safeguarding and confidentiality to ensure safe dance practice.
