As the client's main point of contact, I worked closely with them and our internal Client Relationship, Creative, Content, Production, Resourcing, Finance and Senior Leadership teams to lead projects from start to finish, including:

Examples of key projects I was responsible for managing include:

The roll-out of a major European re-brand to the UK, for a leading provider of medical devices and care solutions to patients and healthcare institutions.

  • In addition to managing the production of branded marketing materials (from internal posters to fleet livery), PR and internal comms, this culminated in 7 consecutive internal launch events over 10 days, at separate locations across the UK.
  • The events required efficient co-ordination with the client's European Leadership and UK teams, third-party suppliers, and our internal teams to successfully deliver engaging, motivational and memorable content (pre, during and post event) across digital and printed materials, speaker presentations and overall onsite attendee experience.


The delivery of 3 x advisory boards in Europe and the US for a global-leading medical technology company

  • Responsibility for co-ordinating and project managing: all attendee travel logistics, venue finding and location management; the creative team in the production of event branding and materials; and the medical writing team, client and KOLs in the development of all content and agenda.

As the only dedicated Events Specialist within the Client Services Team, I was responsible for all end-to-end project management for a multi-national pharmaceutical alliance's annual portfolio of European congresses. Core responsibilities included:

  • Day-to-day client engagement to maintain strong customer relationships, build trust and manage deliverables and expectations.
  • Briefing and co-ordination of internal creative and production teams and third-party suppliers (e.g Stand builders, freight/logistics, congress organisers, caterers, venues and speakers) in the development of all pre, during and post event content and experience.
  • Development and ongoing management of budgets and timelines, including monthly reporting and forecasting to client and senior leadership team.
  • Post-event de-briefs (internal and client) and budget reconciliations.

Company Overview: a leading publisher of magazines and organiser of exhibitions and events solely dedicated to the events sector. I was responsible for promoting and developing the individual portfolios, brands, titles and events (including corporate hospitality, awards ceremony and exhibitions):

  • Worked on the creation, design and launch of an inaugural industry networking event for the Conference News magazine title with responsibility for the branding, definition of objectives, concept and implementation of a fully integrated marketing campaign pre, during and post-event.
  • Worked with the Event Manager to successfully organise the recently acquired Office Management & PA Show, with a lead-up of just 6 weeks (including all visitor acquisition).
  • Responsible for devising and managing all exhibitor, visitor and sponsor promotion (resulting in an increase in visitor numbers on prior years), and provided on-site logistics, organisation and operational support during the 2-day event.
  • Managed the event re-brand and marketing campaign for the Exhibition News Awards, the leading awards ceremony for the exhibition industry with ~1000 attendees. The event received 40% more entrants into the awards than in prior years.
