Emerald Ogbeifun

I have a strong background working with children in both coaching and inclusive support settings. As an Assistant Gymnastics Coach, I helped create a safe, structured, and encouraging environment for children, supporting their physical development and confidence.

I am passionate about supporting others and committed to promoting dignity, inclusion, and wellbeing in every aspect of care.

I have learnt strong communication and motivational skills, with background in physical fitness and team coordination. This has provided me with knowledge about creating engaging and safe workout routines, and fostering positive and inclusive environment.

I have completed the Care Certificate, which has provided me with essential knowledge and skills in areas such as safeguarding, infection control, communication, and person-centred care.

While volunteering at Coombe Dean school, I supported students in the inclusion department who needed extra help cognitively, emotionally and academically. I worked with both individuals and small groups helping them stay focused in class, build their confidence and develop strategies to manage their emotions. I collaborated with teachers and support staff to adapt lessons and provide the right level of encouraagement and structure for each student. This gave me a deeper understanding of how to support young people with diverse needs and helped me grow in empathy, patience and clear communication.
