I originally started working with Andrew in the Covid Lockdown riding out and exercising race horses, when I displayed and interest in the veterinary nursing side when he was working on the animals he then gave me the amazing opportunity to work with him when undertook any procedures with the horses, namely;

• castrations
• sedation's
• suturing
• worming
• collecting blood samples.
• Cleaned and disinfected exam areas, surgical equipment
• Groomed and bathed animals to maintain hygiene and appearance.
• Assisted with euthanasia procedures in humanely and compassionately to minimize suffering.
• Prepared and administered diets and feedings according to instructions.

Working on a Livery Yard from 12, I was involved in the care of horses. I assisted in lessons leading younger children, tacking up horses, cleaned out stables, general keeping the yard tidy in a busy setting. I was a yard representative while on duty and would have communicated with parents on a regular basis.
