I moved to the UK in 2019, after getting my full licence to practice via the PLAB route the previous December. Worked in General surgery for 11 months as an SHO.
Completed my GP training from the Shropshire area in 2023.
Prior to coming to the UK- I worked as a family physician in Nigeria between 2012 and 2019, with exposure to obstetrics and gynaecology, Assisted reproductive technology and general medicine.

I used this period in relocating to the UK
When I arrived I had to take part in induction before starting work at Frimley Park Hospital.
In Nigeria, everyone is expected to undertake a military service for a year after graduation from university.
During this time, I processed my application and eventually started my national service in March 2014
I spent this time after graduating medical school

- Made several applications for internship and attended interviews
Finally got a place for a start in January at The university of Nigeria teaching hospital
