I'm passionate and dedicated nurse with 15 years of experience. From a young age, I was drawn to the field of nursing, always eager to support those in need. I had my degree completed in 2009 in Poland and I started my first job as a nurse in the Neurology Department.
In February 2012 I made significant decision and I moved to the UK to join my husband were we started our family.
While awaiting my PIN number I was working as a Care assistant in a Nursing Home and I found passion looking after the elderly which I am carrying on as a Registered Nurse.
In my career I'm committed to lifelong learning staying up-to-date with medical knowledge, but also compassion, patience, and dedication to other people.
As a nurse in a care home, my relationship with residents is central to the care I provide. Over the years I have developed a deep understanding of each resident’s individual needs, preferences, and personal history. This knowledge allows me to offer more personalised care, which is one of the most rewarding aspects of working as a nurse.
My role was provide care to residents based on their care plane, monitor and record observations on residents conditions, identify care planning needs, carry out risk assessment, record residents vital signs and medical information, revaluate residents care plan and conditions change, consult and coordinate with other healthcare team members , manage stock of supplies, ensure storage and disposal of medication is carried out to according to the policy, report any issues that arose during each shift. Clinical competencies in venepuncture, urinary catheterization, administration of medication via Syringe driver, administration of medication via PEG, collection of blood and other samples to be send off to laboratory.
