I worked as a studio tanning assistant, helping assist customers in choosing out products, the appropriate tanning beds, and minutes for the appropriate skin types. It was a lone working role so I was responsible in making sure the shop was clean and presentable to customers and next member of staff on shift. I have covered for the Manger, taking on the role while she was away, completing tasks such as ensuring the timesheets are in on time, placing stock orders, and doing the cash out and coin orders.
For one year (October of 2023 – October of 2024) I was the manager of the Whiteladies shop. I was given more tasks to complete than my time as cover such as managing staff, making rotas, and uploading paperwork. Working more directly with Head Office.
This was Work experience I did for my Animal Care course. Working close with staff to care for a room full all different sorts of dog breeds. I was never not busy walking dogs, cleaning messes and preparing food.
