Ellis Fewster

I am a motivated and self-disciplined post-GCSE student now within my first year of a T-level in Construction Design. My passion for all things construction and design began as a small child, constantly re-designing rooms within my household using pencil and paper, then later using design websites such as Architect Pro and more recently CAD systems. Holidays with my family centred around experiencing architecture eg the highlight of a recent trip to Barcelona was seeing Camp Nou and The Sagrada Familia and other Gaudi works. I have always been fascinated about how just a simple idea on paper can become a real life structure that benefits many people.

This passion dominated my educational choices and after my GSCEs I opted for T-levels rather than traditional A levels in order to focus on pursuing a career within this field. I was also particularly attracted to the fact that T-levels enable the opportunity to gain skills within a working environment.

I consider myself a strong team player with a keen desire to learn. I am extremely eager to further enhance my skills and learn practically in the work place and experience how my learning works in the 'real world'.

My main hobbies centre around maintaining and improving my fitness and I stay as active as possible. I have played youth football since I was a small child, I regularly attend my local gym and have recently developed an interest in boxing fitness.

I recently completed my Bronze level DofE, incorporating outdoor camping and voluntary work which I found particularly fulfllling.
