STEM Ambassador
Spending time with younger minds and helping them understand about the opportunities in STEM by giving speeches and leading challenging activities. This requires dedication and teamwork to allow events to run efficiently. These events have been thoroughly enjoyable as well as teaching me life skills.
Secretary for Swansea University Powerlifting
This role helped me develop relationships with businesses and create deals, also sourcing merchandise and complying with regulations. It forced me to be highly organised and communicative with my committee. It also allowed me to assist in other roles and be dynamic with my team to ensure a fluid experience for our members
Runners up for Sussex raft design and assembly competition
We designed, built and raced our vessel against 10 other teams. This accomplishment took myself and my team to a local engineering institute. A group speech was given where we explained what engineering principles we had employed to create our competitive vessel. This took courage and leadership skills at a young age. This also developed an early passion for engineering and chemistry, teaching me critical thinking skills.
