Process engineer in the manufacturing and packaging industry, specializing in process control, automation and continuous improvement. Skilled in using advanced systems such as Escada, CDM, Clarity, Roquette and Fosber to maximize manufacturing and production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste and achieving high quality standards.

Collaborate with all the teams including the corrugator team, quality department, maintenance, supply chain and operations to troubleshoot process and production issues and implement solutions.

Conduct daily performance meetings with the corrugator teams and the leadership team to review KPI's and identify key areas of improvement. We also ran a 3 month focus improvement project in which we saw waste reduce by 2% and speeds increase by 4%. We identified a job which we could reduce trim waste from 200mm to 28mm, giving us a cost saving of over £16,500 per year.

Ensure compliance with the industry's health and safety regulations and environmental guidelines through process audits, SOP & SSOW reviews. Also doing daily and weekly CCMP inspections to make sure machine guarding, emergency stops & LOTOTO (Lock out tag out try out) procedures are functional and compliant. On site we achieved a 5 year no LTA, driving a proactive safety culture across the site.

10 years experience on a Corrugator and a highly skilled Central control operator on a Agnati, BHS and Fosber corrugating lines. Using the Escada system to produce the quality of corrugated cardboard without using too much starch or overheating the papers.

Experienced in overseeing and driving corrugator performance to enhance operational efficiency and uphold rigorous health and safety standards.

Responsible for coaching and training of new operators using SOP's and SSOW's to ensure they are trained to a high standard while maintaining high health and safety standards.

Confident communicator in daily meetings and day to day work. A hands on approach to problem solving. Also stepping into the role of team leader when the shift leader was not on site.
