Team-focused individual with excellent work ethic seeks role in fast-paced operations environment. Proactive and productive under pressure to complete tasks to high standards within deadlines. Confident communicator skilled in building positive staff and customer relationships.
First 6 months of the role required us to support with the refit programme of rolling out the Morrisons main estate petrol stations to MFG owned petrol stations.
This required 1 day classroom training for the new colleagues and their contract manager. This was surrounding Morrisons ways of working and the safe and legal elements required to ensure customer and brand protection.
3 day store refit in which all building, signage and stock implementation would take place.
I also took part in the FTG rollout for the stores that were having this offer, this required for me to first get trained as a FTG trainer to be able to deliver this practical session.
Vital that the store was handed over with 100% availability and industry leading standards as this was the beginning of a really important partnership.
Once refit programme was completed my role involved having an area of petrol forecourts (26) in which I would support operationally through weekly visits and completing a Morrisons audit which would drive standards through shop keeping and all safe and legal aspects
Field based role which required weekly hotel stays away from home.
Mccolls to Morrisons Daily Programme-
Worked on a weekly programme of refitting existing convenience stores to a Morrisons Daily.
3 day turn around so had to work closely to timed targets to ensure the store would meet expected launch day.
Lead the existing store team and store support from local supermarket to deliver this.
Worked alongside contractors and the property specialist to drive all elements of the store word forward.
Independent franchise-
Worked through the same rhythm and routine but with our independent customers.
Slight change in mindset required as this is working alongside independent business owners which brought different challenges to the launch week.
Waste Audit Role for the North West Region-
Conducted a detailed waste audit into supermarket processes, re-trained colleagues on the correct way of completing a process to mitigate high waste impact.
Following the audit the store would receive a detailed next steps plan which would be open to review in the following weeks- this would include working with the store manager and their regional manager on set expectations.
Role would include the reviewing of data to indicate a bottom 10 store list. Weekly reviewing of this data to see progression and ensuring stores were maintaining this. During the audit you would use all the stores data reporting and use this an objective indiction into where processes would need to improve.
This was a field based role in which I was able to self manage myself and my own diary to ensure I was conducting the audits in the right stores at the right time.
